Save The Children

Jane, a voter, liked Roy's warm smile;

His voice had authority and he came from Yale;

The kind of a man who would not fail.

She voted for him and his smart-class style.

Roy, the politician, forced others to do good;

He took money from John and gave it to Jack;

It was money that John would never get back.

Roy, of course, kept some for himself: it pays to do good.

Ben, a voter, liked the toughness of Greg;

He was a fighter, or so he said.

Ben himself was ready, ready to be led.

As a true blue patriot he voted for Greg.

Greg, the politician, raised the minimum wage;

Put Jack out of work and took a worker from Tim;

Then sang with Roy the socialist hymn,

"From each and each, according to whim."

Sally, the self-pitying, thought, "Bob is the man;

He'll right the wrongs been done to me

And set me free from the choice to..to...be.

Bob, tax the damn rich as much as you can!"

Bob, the politician, envying the men of wealth,

Said, "All that I do is for love of the poor."

He taxed the rich to death (love hard to ignore),

Then pulled some strings for "our national health."

The men of wealth have closed stores and factories,

And Jack and John a park bench now do share;

They lie at ease without a hope or care;

State doctors give them them drugs for miseries.

Feeling Jane, feeling Ben and feeling Sally

Are marching in the Save The Children rally!

In measured and in angry, scornful tone,

With wrath of judgment e'en, speak out 'gainst the state,

But when four-lettered screams are all you own

Your voice will echo, "It is too late."

Your voice will echo, "It is too late."

While they who bear them noble in the fight,

And do not stoop to savage sounds of packs,

They will not lose, or bright or dim the light,

But ever ease the chains from off their backs.

He who no dictator's blustrings fears,

But trumpets forth man's rights against his ears,

Maintains within his mind that light of day

Which strikes ballooned buffoon to disarray.

Altruist stands against Egoist,

Against his own life stands;

Red with blood his eyes are,

Plucked by his selfless hands.

___________________________

Altruist follows the leader,

Who knows not where to go,

But down into lifeless darkness

Where all false leaders go.

____________________________

Altruist follows ruts and hollows of selfless service worn;

Altruist bellows to his fellows, "Cowards we are born".

Altruist bending in faith ne'er ending to death is sending his prayers befriending;

Death, receiving, is nowise grieving, but laughs in reaping the self-deceiving.

Altruist kneels, pounds head on floor;

Egoist stands, a beast no more.

A prince or a cockroach,

Which is Obama?

Just watch him scuttle,

Then judge this drama.

Scuttles through leaves of Red manifestos,

Scuttles through dung of leftover leftos,

Scuttles with gangs in a big white house,

Showing the world the soul of a louse.

Well, you have to admit

There's no high drama

In watching this cockroach

That's called Obama.

The play's beginning

And that is sweet,

So jump for rights

And stamp your feet!

Obama the bridge.

Obama's a bridge with a crack,

A bridge that goes where you can't get back,

And when it topples into the bay

You're cracked on your back

And there you stay.

Moral: don't call cracks bridges.

Okay.

Obama's a crack---going up, going down,

Spreading across, splitting,

Reaching other cracks,

Becoming a holy crack,

A Messiah crack, a God Crack,

The Mother of all CRACKS!

Justice is Ready

Those who preach "service" mean only "serve us"

And "teachers" like them should make us nervous.

Nay, soul-lechers like those must hear damnation

From everyone good in a great free nation.

Then speak out, declare it, shout it out loud---

"I'm proud I'm no servant and proud to be proud!"

And those who'd enslave me or make me bend low,

It's you who are evil wherever you go.

"Wherever you go, whatever you do,

My judgment, in reason, comes down against you.

Perverters, destroyers, of all that is great,

You'll find your own selves in your own hate."

Justice is ready, Americans rise,

Wipe "education's" dust from their eyes.

The scurrying roaches they once thought were men

They vow not to ever give votes for again.

'Down through our history, to the present year,

The people will waken and harken to hear'

The voice of a hero, a man of sound mind,

Who simply tells them, "To your selves be not blind".

"Be not blind to your joy, nor blind to your rights,

As individuals, be not blind to your life!

Of importance much greater there's not a one else

To take the bright place of your high topmost self.

Gold coin of your standard, be yours its clear face,

And never turn tails in a coward's disgrace.

Fair flag of your values and property's sign,

Americans, re-own it--"My Life Is Mine!"

Step Up The Pace Now

Step up and step up and step up the pace now,

March on and march on, right up to the door;

Communists, altruists, they're in disgrace now,

Into the White House, you Patriots, pour!

Throw them down, throw them down, fascistic bastards!

Toss all these evil ones down to the street!

White House of Washington, White House of Jefferson,

Needs not these roaches to make it complete.

Speak it out, sing it out, praise it out loud----

"True individuals never be cowed!"

Rights individual, lives self-responsible,

Know that base service to others is bull!

I went into the White House

To stamp out roaches there;

Indeed, I saw a large one---

Was called Obamacare.

'Twas big, false-smiling ugly

And had a commie brain;

I stamped my feet of Justice

And now I clean the stain.

I went into the White House

And spit on commie czars,

And then I got my broom out

And swept the mud to Mars.

I went into the White House---

The home of heroes old---

And kicked the critter 'bama

On out into the cold.

I went into the White House,

A real American true,

And said to American people,

"Your lives are up to you.

"Your lives, your health, your happiness,

Whatever you become,

Are your responsibilities,

And you are your own sum.

"So don't be a roach-like commie,

Or fascist, socialist pest,

But live like those heroes honest

And always do your best----

Your best for life and liberty,

Your best for your own cheer;

Your best for you, while pests you see

You Stamp! They disappear!

The low porn-o-rama

Of Acorn-Obama,

Disgustingly low, is it not?

No seed of an oak,

But a weed-sprouting joke,

That gardners of honesty spot,

And fling out the flower-eating rot!

The time has come to tell the world

Objectivism is the only power

To bring real day for an endless hour;

Objectivism is the one philosophy

That makes real peace for the mind and body;

Objectivism is the one real practical moral truth

That leads to happiness beyond bare youth;

Objectivism is the one and only highest wisdom,

And open to all who choose to think;

It's not of darkness, not forbidden, not a secret,

But clean and clear, sharp-edged and bright,

A body of principles daring and light,

Energetic, inspiring, loving man's fire,

Labelling "Certain" each selfish desire.

The time has come to tell the world

All other philosophies and religions

Are false and flawed and false again,

Beneath the dignity of common sense men,

Leftover rubbish of dastardly ages

When sly-eyed popes acted as sages,

When hag-like witch doctors envied a man

Who built a bridge that he began,

When frowning teachers of happy children

Taught them there were joys forbidden

And feelings to be rid of, pride chidden,

Initiative a thing for scorn,

Inventiveness better un-born,

And man on earth a malicious un-worth.

False and false, and false again!

The time has come to tell the world

Forgiveness there will never be

For all those who refuse to see

That their one life is all they've got,

And they had better make it good

For highest, happy sefishhood,

Or lose to darkness that one light

Of universal, centered height---

The meaning of Important Place:

"I'm its spirit, I'm its face."

The time has come to tell the world

Objectivism will bring them justice,

Whether they want it or not.

Reality is its motor, running hot!

You can't turn off its ignition;

Reality is on a mission!

The Whole Selfish World

You living your life, that's wrong.

My living my life, that's wrong, too.

I should live your life,

You should live mine;

Just be someone other---

Your sister, your brother---

And all will be fine.

God will be happy,

Society, too,

When you are me

And I am you.

What's the difference,

Who can tell?

We'll both be selfless

And that is swell.

For self is evil,

Didn't you know?

Started with Devil,

First to say "No".

"No, I won't follow,

I won't bow down;

I will not grovel

For God's self's frown.

For Society's self

I won't give a pea.

What's wrong with the self

That's simply me?"

Each thing has a self---

It is what it is;

No fizz is a rock,

No rock is a fizz.

Should self of the sun

For another sun shine?

What's wrong with a star saying,

"My light's mine"?

You live for you now,

I'll live for me;

The whole selfish world

In self harmony.

Observations? Last night I was attending a presentation for a private elementary school for my son. The public school district is in disarray. This morning when I was driving to work I got stuck, second time in as many weeks, behind a train crossing arm that doesn't go up after it goes down. So, I broke the law and drove out of my left-hand turn lane to make my way straight through my intersection. I continued driving down the blvd that's full of potholes, past commercial real estate that is about 40% empty and then it hit me...this feels like Atlas Shrugged.
