Happy Birthday, Mac! The source of the best artwork on my walls.

Cheers!

Happy Birthday! Robert.

Lines of form and body, true

To inner lines of strength of view;

Real ideally drawn just right

For Reason's love and Joy's brave sight:

Picture, picture, on the wall,

Holds the artist's soul and all;

Frame is glad a frame to be---

Beautiful world's boundary.

Thank you very much. I had no idea you have my artwork on your walls.

One more year closer to 70. I do intend to enjoy them and to create until I can't.

Happy Birthday, fellow Marine!

Ah! At 40, you're just a baby.

Yet a Marine is a Marine. A salute to you my fellow Marine.

Thank you for the birthday wishes.

Robert

Happy Birthday, and thank you for all the art!

Thank you two times.

LOL! I just saw this. I can guess who told you about that. It was worth it though! And for a bonus, we got a poem out of it too.

I spent forever choosing the frame, and used museum glass too -- woo hoo. I guess I was compensating myself for not having bought the original, which was purchased by.... Alan?! Alan, did you get that at the 2002 OCON? All these years I've thought it was somebody else who was smarter than me, but I guess it was you all the time. :D

Anyway, thanks again Robert for all your beautiful art - and I hope you have many more happy birthdays.

No it wasn't somebody smarter than you, just quicker on the draw. :D Robert had so many beautiful originals on display at the Industry Hills conference, it was hard to choose, but this was one I wanted as soon as I saw it. Simple, elegant, and beautiful. I was "between jobs" at the time, but I knew this would run off somewhere else if I didn't buy it.

Thanks yet again, Robert -- I'll be back!

:D

Then you know how much more subtle the original is than the poor scanned image you show here.

Since it's in silver-point my guess is that's the reason I could never capture a good image of it. You ever dare to take it out of its frame and get a high resolution photo of it please send it along.
