Have you noticed it is the British who are so outspoken? I forget the MP from the European parliament's name, but add to him Richard Dawkins and the "God is not great" fellow, and you have opinions standing up for reason that I don't see elsewhere. Will it be the Brits who save us?

Alas no. The reason they are more reactive is because Britain is more socialist. At least that's how I perceive it. The standard altruist line that ideals don't matter has permeated the British population so far that few people realise; those that do are screaming in the desert. Hannan's work makes for great reading, but Britain is lost for a while. Cameron is a wimp. Ah, Thatcher, where art thou...
