Star-Spangled Letter

Editor: Everyone knows and sings The Star-Spangled Banner. But how many of us truly love "The land of the free and the home of the brave"? Are you brave when you vote for a politician who promises to raise taxes on businesses? Are you brave when you vote for and support a measure that will regulate and control the productive activities of farmers and industrialists? And when taxes are raised and regulations increased, can you proudly say that you are for freedom?

Don't you think it is about time that those who are not brave, and who do not value freedom, stopped singing The Star-Spangled Banner? Let the wanna-be socialists, communists and fascists at least be honest and, if you are one of them, do not stand up and sing, but sit there in your seat and resentfully disapprove of the greatest country on earth.

And why not call

the wanna-be socialists, communists and fascists
what they are. Progressives is what they're being called. I like progress. What about "American Traitors"? Or "Benedict Arnolds".
