Nathan Gunn Performs "Shenandoah"

3 posts in this topic

Here is the fine American baritone singing the folk song, Shenandoah. As he seems to do with everything, Mr. Gunn once again brings his fresh tone and unmannered approach to the music and, consequently, allows it to shine! Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful. The way he holds on to some notes is very expressive. Unusual accompaniment, but it fit right in. Also shows that looks aren't everything, for he certainly looks like he would have a lighter voice. Thank you, Vespasiano.

Glad you enjoyed, Brian! Mr. Gunn's voice, while not necessarily "light" in timbre, is only of mid-weight size. In other words: his is not a big, "honking" instrument of the Verdi, Puccini, Wagner variety.
