Summer Music, Part 6

1 post in this topic

A lovely, musical evocation of lazy Summer days as only Frederick Delius could do it, A Song of Summer was completed in 1931. By that time, Delius was completely blind and paralyzed and, consequently, dictated the score to his musical assistant, Eric Fenby, who would in turn become a noted composer, teacher, conductor and champion of the elder composer's works.

Ah, Summer . . . . Enjoy!
