Our evening begins at 5:00 pm in Grand Central Terminal where GTP activists will pass out Wendy Long For Senate! palm cards until 7:00 pm. Join in a massive GOTV effort for Wendy Long! We'll then adjourn to our new venue for our regular program of lively speakers and fellowship beginning at 7:30 pm. Addressing us will be: Pamela Geller - The blogger and activist known for her stance against radical Islam will report on her recent experience running ads calling for the support of the civilized man against the savage.Yaron Brook - The son of Israeli socialists, the author of Free Market Revolution: How Ayn Rand's Ideas Can End Big Government, columnist for Forbes.com, and president and executive director of the Ayn Rand Institute has much to say about the stakes in this election. Were we surprised: Within hours close to 50 people signed up! We faced a dilemma: Turn people down OR find a big venue at...CHRISTMAS CHANUKAH TIME! Kudos to Julia H.: She found McGees -- a big venue -- at this last possible minute. BUT since we now have higher expenses (the restaurant!) we have to charge our usual fees.
