Posted 18 Jan 2006 · Report post The SFSU Objectivist Club will be having it's first meeting on Thursday, February 16, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held on campus, in the Cesar Chavez Student Center, in a conference room to be announced after the semester begins on January 30.Attendance is open to anyone interested in Ayn Rand and Objectivism, whether they are students, faculty, or members of the surrounding community.This semester, we will be viewing and discussing video-taped lectures on loan from ARI, as well as periodic, informal social events. When I first started going to school here, I kept seeing all the advertisements for meetings for the Socialist Club that ended with "Rosa Parks!" For the longest time I was wondering what the hell Rosa Parks had to do with socialism, then I realized that's just how my leftist school decided to name the conference rooms.
