Posted 30 Jan 2006 · Report post We are co-sponsoring a lecture with the Israel Council at Purdue in which Tsuriel Raphael will speak on the current political status of Israel. Mr. Raphael is currently Director of the Israel Information Center and has held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1981. This is not a political lecture in the sense that Mr. Raphael will be arguing for any certain ideological approach to Israeli politics. Rather, he will be presenting an update on the political situation given recent events; such as "the newly formed Kadima party, Sharon's stroke, the Palestinian elections, and the Iranian Nuclear crisis" according to ICAP. The presentation will take place on February 6th @ 7pm in FRNY G124. If you would like to help post fliers for the event, ICAP has scheduled various times this week for members of their own club and ours to meet, which are posted on our web-site.
