Posted 29 Sep 2006 · Report post For now all I can do is imagen what it would be like to be a passenger. But, someday I would love to turn that imagination into reality and actually see the curvature of the Earth. Wow, what a great trip that would be!

Posted 30 Sep 2006 · Report post $200,000 for a flight.... I sure hope the prices will go down (which of course they will as long as the industry doesn't get aborted by stiffling regulations).
Posted 30 Sep 2006 · Report post I hope they do allow old people to go up.I figure that if I go old in 70 years time, I would have lots of equity in the house and other stuff that isn't used, so I could sell it, rent a nice place for my final years of my life(which I doubt would be many after 93) and use the house money to go on that trip as one of my very last big adventures of my life. Barring the collapse of civilization (give the teachers of environmentalism more time...), there should some incredible new technology 50 years from now. There ought to be many options for space flight, and it's possible (I would go out on a limb and say probable) that biomedical research will have methods for extending life to some degree. My guess is that you'll be able to go on a space ride and have money left over to enhance and prolong your body, both.
Posted 30 Sep 2006 · Report post I think so too, the changes in the past 50 years in the world have been incredible. Heck, even in my brief lifespan, the changes have been huge. But, I plan based on what technology I know exists now and adjust plans accordingly as new stuff comes out over time. Posted 1 Oct 2006 · Report post But, I plan based on what technology I know exists now and adjust plans accordingly as new stuff comes out over time. I just saw this news article. A man is trading 2,000,000 frequent flier miles for the space trip. One more incentive to make those long international flights
