Right now users (at least me) can only use BB code, e.g. [i] [/i] need to be used for italicizing words in BB code, but I prefer to use <i> </i> (which is html). This is really just my own personal preference, as I usually code in html and so am always in that mindset. Also, there are a couple of reasons why these tags are more efficient than the BB tags: the "<" and ">" don't require a pinkie while the "[" and "]" do, and use of the I button in the tool-bar requires that one stop typing in order to activate it.
