Posted 22 Apr 2007 · Report post I was deeply saddened to learn of Stephen's passing. I did not know him personally but I enjoyed reading many of his posts and have been quite grateful to see the creation of this forum. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. I wish I could say more...I, too, want to say how happy I am that Stephen created The Forum for Ayn Rand Fans. He created the opportunity for Objectivists and present students of Objectivism to express their thoughts and even correspond if they wish.
Posted 2 Dec 2007 · Report post The world has lost a renaissance man. Didn't know Stephen personally, read a lot of what he wrote in these forums - learned a lot from him, was regularly inspired and had my views challenged. Haven't been to the forum in a while, just found out. To Betsy, my condolences and best wishes.Sincerely,Charles
Posted 3 May 2008 · Report post I haven't been to this Forum in quite a while for various reasons, and have just learned of this horrible news. My deepest condolences go to Betsy for her loss even though I'm a year late. I greatly admired Stephen's knowledge of physics.
