Posted 24 Sep 2008 · Report post I entered the phrase "agree to disagree" on the advanced search page, and received the "one of your search terms is shorter than four characters" error. However, I enclosed the phrase in quotation marks, indicating that I wanted posts with that exact phrase to be found. By doing that, I am in effect submitting a single search term which is 17 characters long, not three search terms one of which is two characters long, so the four character rule should not apply. It should be matched no differently than a single word is matched, whether or not it contains whitespace. This should be reported to Invision as a bug.
