As an art historian, a New Yorker, and an Objectivist, DIANNE DURANTE finds the WTC Memorial (Reflecting Absence) extraordinarily disappointing. She has written about proper memorials and the historical progression of memorials in a new Kindle book, “From Portraits to Puddles: New York Memorials from the Civil War to the World Trade Center Memorial.” The 150+ illustrations are mostly in color and include archival photos and close-ups.

More details are available on the Forgotten Delights website (link) and the book is available on Amazon.
